I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know the artist Tim Pugh over the last few months. Always intrigued and captured by meticulous patterns he works with. I took the opportunity to capture his tools of his craft in work in progress. So seeing the burst of light come through the window I had to capture what was in front of me.

I once remember seeing a crash on the M40. After sitting in the jam we got to the event. On spine boards where the two people who had been tragically involved in the car crash. Instantly for the few seconds that caught my gaze there was instant peace. I was not quick enough  capture what i had seen on camera due to drive ing. In all the mayhem i could feel a strange sense of tranquility. This image for me shows that it almost looks staged in a Gregory Crewson style. The juxtaposition of the cars playing off on each other has a feel of synchronicity. Tragic is the last thing i feel. THis maybe is what i read from it. obviously introduce a body or being to the shot it totally changes the demographic totally
